Run on the weekend, or in the evenings during the week, our regular group courses are a cheap and sociable way to learn inline skating skills, ranging from the beginner skills to get you started, all the way through to advanced skating techniques.

Skate to work - The skate course to set you free!

|
skatework2.jpg Get your skates on and have an amazing start to the day!

Ditch the packed tube, late buses and traffic jams, get you skates on and skate to work.

This is a great way to meet new people, have lots of fun and discover one of the best ways to get around any city. You will feel good and the exercise will do you good. It may do you so much good you may like a little longer!

You are happy skating around the park, doing a bit of stopping and turning but now it's time to get out on the street for the real stuff.

We are running an amazing course which covers all the skills you need to use your skates as transport.

You've never skated before, or feeling rusty with the basics? This is the course for you!

We specialise in putting you at ease and getting you skating quickly as well as having loads of fun at the same time! This course has been designed and run by one of the UK's finest, Mark Davies who is one of only two qualified ICP Level 3 Master Instructors currently in the UK.

We have put together a fantastic four hour course that really gets you up and going. It's designed to take you from complete beginner to intermediate, so no previous skate experience or skills are needed.

Marks says: "I've been running this course for the last four years and it's always been a great success as well as a whole load of fun and it's a great way to get you skating with confidence"

We've had a few reports that people are supposedly attending our Sunday Beginners except that we know, for sure, that they are not being taught by our instructors. Whilst we encourage people to try other instructors (after all, we all learn in different ways and you should find an instructor that suits your style and makes it fun) we highly recommend you only seek out ICP qualified instructors.

Remember that we are the only instructors in Hyde Park that wear green helmets and, if you turn up with a Club Blue Room receipt that is less than 3 months old, the Sunday Beginners session is FREE. Also, this session takes place in the safe environment at The Royal Albert Memorial, so if you're taking the lesson elsewhere you are not having it from us.

Here is an update on the courses coming up this weekend:

On Sunday 11th May we're running our usual Sunday Beginners session at the usual time of 12pm.  You'll learn to start skating and how to stop safely.

At 1:30pm, on the same day, we're running the Sunday Beginners Follow-on course where you can learn to deal with getting on and off pavements, as well as how to turn.  It costs £20 so just turn up ready to roll.

All of these courses take place at The Royal Albert Memorial
