Mark is one of only three level 3 ICP master instructors in the UK. He has a vast amount of teaching experience and has had the privilege of teaching thousands of people to skate over the years, many of them are now some of London's top skaters.

Mark is the founder and director of skateinstructor.com which he established over five years ago. He is also the UK ICP administrator and boasts that he can teach anyone to take their first backward skating steps in less than sixty seconds and if you don't believe him, he would be more than happy to take a little bet with you for charity!

Matt

Matt - Brighton & London

Matt took up skating to get fit, got completely addicted, and became an ICP qualified instructor in less than 18 months. Trained by Mark for his level 1 ICP instructor qualification, he qualified top of his group in 2007. His patience and calming attitude to teaching make him an ideal instructor for those nervous of taking their first skating steps.

Between skating for fun, and being a full time instructor, Matt maintains the skateinstructor.com website.

Tim
Eastbourne
Tim - Eastbourne

Tim is Eastbourne's longest serving instructor. He qualified as an ICP IISA instructor back in 1995.

Tim has worked in the industry for many years as a director of a skate shop and the event coordinator for England's biggest skate festival since 1998. Additionally Tim has coordinated skate holidays abroad and spent many years teaching in schools and running training programs for councils and businesses.

Tim has worked hard to build the skate scene in Eastbourne since 1995 and at some point or another has taught almost all of Eastbourne skaters. Some of these have progressed so far they have become instructors themselves and now teach on Eastbourne seafront too!

David

David - London

A familiar face on the London skating scene, David has been skating for 18 years and it shows: he is one of the best street skaters around. Now manager of Club Blue Room he was once the manager for the Salomon Inline Display Team, has appeared in skating videos, and taken part in organised races through the busy London streets for fitness magazines.

David teaches our superstar skills courses.

Greg

Greg - London

Greg is from Port Elizabeth, South Africa and has a background in cycling, downhill mountain bike racing and triathlons. He has being skating for approximately 4 years.

Greg was drawn into skating as it was a natural progression from his previous sports as it's dynamic involving both movement and balance, besides just being "a whole lotta fun in the sun"

Taking lessons with one of our instructors is the best way to learn how to skate well. Our instructors are among some of the the highest qualified in the UK. Mark is an ICP level 3 master instructor. There are only three ICP level 3 master instructors currently in the UK.

One-to-one and group private lessons are available, where you can learn skills at your pace. We also run regular group courses which teach a wide range of skills, from the very start all the way through to impressive tricks.
