It's every Saturday at 10:30am (if dry) all year around. They meet by the Pagoda in Battersea Park. It’s 100% free. All you have to do is have fun!!!
The London Friday Night Skate & Sunday Stroll
The London skater community created these regular street skates several years ago. They are marshalled, where very good skaters block the traffic to provide a safe environment, and are "absolutely free". The Sunday Stroll is a good street skate for beginners whereas the London Friday Night Skate is much, much faster! Run throughout the year these are a prime example of the community working together.
Runs throughout the summer, the Wednesday Night Skate lies somewhere between the Sunday Stroll and London Friday Night Skate. With a relaxed and often loud environment, it's something to aim for as a beginner. Again, this skate is absolutely free!
All of these are run by dedicated people who give up their time to make sure you have a great time.

UPDATE: The trip was amazing! We will go back to Amsterdam soon, to make sure you don't miss it, subscribe to our newsletter or join our Facebook group!
Amsterdam; smooth tarmac, generous cycle lanes and the most respectful motorists ever seen. And of course the obvious advantage, not an uphill in sight (the only slopes are bridges).
Following our successful skate trips to the warmer climate of Alicante in the South of Spain already this year (2011), because of popular demand for skating in this spectacular location, we are running another one.
Our detailed knowledge of quiet local roads offers an unmatched opportunity to skate along "unbelievably smooth road and pavement surfaces" against stunning backdrops of the beach, harbour and Santa Bárbara castle. Like many cities of Southern Spain, Alicante has a strong cultural scene and is steeped in history. There is plenty to see, from the seaside promenade, the Esplanade to the colourful façades and winding streets of Alicante's historical district, El Barrio. Try a café con leche in a terrace café, sample the local food in a wide range of restaurants or just enjoy the vue of Alicante's diverse mix of architecture styles.
This seaside city is much warmer than in London in December, with average daytime temperatures of around 20 degrees.
