During the last few weeks, my students in the park (and down the pub) have been telling me they’re worried about not getting enough. Enough skating that is!!!
With Autumn already here and Winter round the corner, they’re concerned that bad weather and lack of daylight means they won’t get enough practice time over the next few months. And they’re right.
Practice makes perfect. And during the winter months you need to make it count, or your muscle memory will start to fade and you stand to lose hard won skills.
So this year we’ve got a solution and we’re calling it ‘Skate Smart’.
It’s a range of short programmes specially designed for you to get the most from your time on wheels during the winter months.
Right now we’re working on some great ideas that will keep you ‘skate-fit’ and your skills honed - while having a lot of fun. In the next week or so we’ll be launching our Autumn/Winter programme. But in the meantime let me know what’s most important to you- whether it’s general fitness, specific skills or simply socializing on skates!
We’ll try to incorporate any ideas that you come up with and I’ve got a bottle of champagne waiting in the fridge for whoever comes up with the most original (and usable).

Skate before you go to work!
As we change the clock this Saturday (Don't forget to move your clock back an hour) of course it means we lose light in the evenings but we do gain light in the morning. Starting the day with a skate lesson on Serpentine Road is a great way to start your day. Lessons are available from 8 to 9am each week day. To make a booking just click here.
Looking forward to hearing from you all...
See you soon! Have a great week, be safe on your wheels, and HAVE FUN!
